Planning Change

I anticipate that this team dissemination project will go well. I think the original topic proposal may need to be reworked possibly depending on the information we can find however if we work together, it will make things run smoothly. The people in my group seem reliable and I think we will all work together well. We started off using emails to communicate but now we are in a group message on our phones instead. The group chat seems to be working well so far and everyone is participating in the conversation. We will assign everybody specific tasks to do and set a day and time to have them done by and if you haven’t done it once it gets close, we will remind each other. If it still isn’t done after a reminder, we will probably all get together and talk about how it is important to do your part and ask them to contribute their portion.

            Everyone is busy with school, work, and their social lives so it may be hard to meet often. It is easier to work together in person because you can ask questions right away but if you aren’t in person you have to wait for a response over text. This may be a barrier however I think we will be able to find a few times everybody is available to work on the project. A benefit of this project is we all get to work together which I know I personally haven’t worked with any of the people in my group before so I think it will be a good learning experience to get to work with new people. Working on this project will help me become more comfortable working with new people and adapt to how they carry out the tasks needed to complete the project. This is important because as a nurse you work with new people all the time and it is important to be able to adapt to new things and overcome barriers together when they occur.
