Since choosing a topic and developing a PICOT question and searching for articles we have had to revise the question. The question was originally specific to pre-eclampsia and race and access to healthcare, but we then changed it to “In pregnant women with pre-eclampsia what is the impact of access to care on women’s health?”. Some challenges we have come across while working on our PICOT are finding articles that contain research including both women with pre-eclampsia and their access to healthcare. We may still need to alter our question to aid in our search to find articles relating to the topic however we have been able to find a few. I think as a team we are working well and collaborating to sort through any issues/challenges we encounter which is a success to me because it can be hard to work with others sometimes to solve problems. We haven’t encountered issues within the group with each other just mainly issues in finding articles and ways to revise the question to best aid in our search for articles. Overall, I think the group is working well together and the PICOT question and research is coming together nicely.
