I anticipate that this team project will be accomplished by all of our team members working together and collaborating with one another to formulate the best final paper possible. Working in teams isn’t always easy however I think having good communication will make it easier on us. Our communication plan is to communicate with one another openly and honestly and hold each other accountable for the work we are supposed to get done. I will hold myself accountable by making sure I contribute to each part of the paper and stay on top of the work as it comes and be sure to complete my part by the date, we all discuss. I will hold my teammates accountable by reviewing their work and helping if needed but also making sure they get their part done by the due dates. If there is conflict among the group, we will sit down and discuss the importance of working together and each contributing what is necessary. If this doesn’t work, we may need to figure out a way for the person to be held accountable by someone other than ourselves. The benefits of working as a team is everyone will have different information and outlook on the topic. Working as a team also allows us to each spend more time researching the topic and can allow us to formulate a better paper overall. A barrier we may have while completing this project as a team is if one person or more than one person isn’t putting in their fair share of work and others have to pick up the slack or waste time discussing the issue and holding them accountable. This will be useful in the practice of being a nurse because as a nurse you have to collaborate and work with other nurses as well as a healthcare team as a whole. Also, this will help us get accustomed to working as a team and resolving any conflicts that may arise while working together.
